Powerlifting is an athletic discipline in the that focuses on improving strength primarily in the squat, bench, and deadlift.
Our Powerlifting program sets us apart from other gyms because we offer attentive coaching, thoughtfully personalized programming that evolves as you improve, and an open class structure that encourages you to spend time experimenting and learning rather than rushing you through the workout, as is common at other boutique gyms and their strict 1 hour class structures. For those more serious about competing, we work 1-on-1 to peak athletes for upcoming competitions.

Q: Do I need to compete if I do Powerlifting?
A: No. In fact, about half our athletes never intend to compete! Many simply enjoy learning the technique, and getting stronger.
Q. If I touch a barbell or start strength training will it make me bulky?
A. No. Strength Training and Olympic lifting are not Bodybuilding. However, if your goals are to bulk, we can build that into your program.
Q. Looks dangerous?
A. Every session is coached by an experienced coach, meaning we will never push you beyond your physical capabilities. Each coach prioritizes technique and safety is our #1 priority.
Q. Looks heavy?
A. We start beginners will light weight. As your technique improves, you will be cleared by a coach to use heavier weights.
